Lakewood Camping Resort's Polar Plunge

Dive into 2025 with Lakewood Camping Resort's annual Polar Plunge. Participation is free, but for those who can, we are asking for $5 or two non perishable food items to benefit backpack buddies Backpack Buddies is a local non profit whose mission is to provide food for hungry children in the area. The event will take place on December 31 at 2:00 pm. Those brave enough to take the plunge can register with the Lakewood Information Center either inperson or by phone at 843-447-7343. Registration will continue until 1 p.m. on December 31.
