Myrtle Beach Branch of the NAACP Freedom Fund Gala
Join us for an evening of inspiration and unity at the Myrtle Beach Branch NAACP’s Freedom Fund Gala on February 1, 2025, from 6–9 PM at the Pine Lakes Country Club. This annual black-tie event celebrates the tireless work of the NAACP in advancing civil rights, social justice, and equality for all. With every donation, you help continue the fight for a better, fairer future.
This year, we are honored to welcome the renowned Victoria Rowell as our keynote speaker. An 11-time NAACP Image Award winner, Victoria’s illustrious career as an actress, director, and activist has empowered countless individuals to embrace their potential and fight for equality. Her presence will undoubtedly inspire and uplift all in attendance. Rowell is best known for her iconic role as Drucilla Winters on The Young and the Restless, which earned her three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. She also starred in Diagnosis: Murder as Dr. Amanda Bentley, appearing in both series simultaneously from 1993 to 2000. Her film credits include The Distinguished Gentleman, Dumb and Dumber, and Barb Wire.
Your support of this event extends beyond the ballroom. A portion of the proceeds will fund a sizeable donation to a local nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe haven for youth in crisis—offering hope and a brighter tomorrow to the most vulnerable in our community. Tables are on sale, but space is limited! Don’t miss your chance to be part of this monumental evening. Visit MyrtleBeachNAACP.com or call (843) 380-9041 to secure your table today.
Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive community. Join the Myrtle Beach Branch NAACP, become a sponsor, and help us continue this critical work. Stand with us—because justice needs us all.
