Nights of a Thousand Candles

Experience one of the most beloved holiday traditions and walk through Brookgreen Gardens for their famous Nights of 1000 Candles! This renowned light display has been around for many years and happens annually at the beautiful gardens of Brookgreen in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This stellar light show is perfect for families, friends, and couples of all ages. It features over 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights that decorate the gardens. Guests can enjoy hearing holiday music and sip on a warm cup of cider as they stroll through the gardens. Nights of a Thousand Candles was named “Best Christmas Lights in South Carolina” by Travel+Leisure Magazine. It is also a winner of the Charles A. Bundy award for excellence in tourism from the South Carolina Parks Recreation and Tourism. The event kicks off Nov. 30 and runs from 4 to 9.m. on Wednesdays-Sundays throughout the holiday season (through Jan 5). Guests can purchase tickets online. Tickets for members are $30 for adults and $14 for children. Tickets for non-members are $35 for adults and $17 for children.
